Why Wellbeing shouldn’t cost the Earth!
If you’ve ever looked up “wellbeing retreats,” you might have noticed a frustrating trend that they are all incredibly expensive! The five-star luxury eco-lodges and the eye-watering price tags, wellness can sometimes feel like an exclusive club reserved only for those with deep pockets.
At Wellbeing Walks, we believe that taking care of your mental and physical health is a necessity, not a luxury. True wellness shouldn’t require a second mortgage. We make our Wellbeing Retreats affordable.
Here’s how we keep our retreats affordable and how we do it without compromising on the relaxation and quality!
When you strip away the infinity pools, what is a wellbeing retreat actually about?
It’s about space. Space to breathe fresh air and reconnect with nature and to move along trails and space to connect with like-minded people.
By focusing on what truly matters—nature, community, movement, and mindfulness, we can offer experiences that are accessible to everyone.
We don’t book ultra-luxury hotels, and we don’t do leaky tents either. Instead, we hunt for sensible accommodation that feels like a home away from home. Think cozy country cottages, converted barns, and high end bunkhouses. These spaces are warm, comfortable, and perfectly situated near the best walking routes. We pass those savings directly on to you.
Luxury retreats often boast private, Michelin-starred chefs serving intricate tasting menus. While that’s nice for a fancy night out, it’s not what your body craves after a long day of hiking through the British countryside. We focus on good, honest, home-cooked food. Hearty soups, fresh salads, slow-cooked stews, and freshly baked bread and we do try and source the produce from the local area.
A great retreat isn’t defined by how much it costs, but by how you feel when you leave
At Wellbeing Walks we create bespoke outdoor experiences. Contact us now for more information.
