I want to go to the seaside!

We offer great coastal walks too at Wellbeing Walks. The sound of waves and the vastness of the ocean can have a calming effect, helping to lower stress levels. Spending time by the sea is often linked to increased feelings of happiness and contentment.

When sat by the sea you are immersed in the moment, celebrating a day where you come together to do not that much!

The beauty and tranquility of the coast can inspire creativity and new ideas.  The sound of waves can act as a natural sleep aid and coastal areas often encourage activities like walking, swimming, and surfing, leading to improved fitness.

The iodine, salt, and magnesium present in sea air mist stimulate the immune system and ease the symptoms of respiratory problems. The negative ions present in the ocean air balance serotonin levels, and improve your overall well-being.

The sea breeze can clear the air of pollen, mould spores, and other irritants, making it easier to breathe for those with allergies and the salt in sea air can help to clear mucus and improve lung function.

Of course spending time outdoors near the sea exposes you to sunlight, essential for vitamin D production and seawater contains minerals that can nourish and soothe the skin.

Being by the sea allows you to appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

We offer coastal walks too at Wellbeing Walks and know some great spots – so why not get your employees out of the office and into nature by the sea. Have a look here to see some great spots: Best UK coast and sea walks | National Trust

We can quite easily combine coastal and forest from locations such as the New Forest: see an example event here Walking and Brewery Tour in the New Forest – Wellbeing Walks – Out the office into nature
