What day of the week should I choose for my team building event?
At Wellbeing Walks we can deliver events any day of the week or weekend. However, we think choosing the right day for your team is important as different days of the week have different benefits.
Monday Night Recharge: What could be better on a Monday morning, going into the office or going out for a beautiful walk in nature with your team? Picking this day has great benefits as your employees could stay overnight Monday night and return to work Tuesday lunchtime feeling relaxed and ready to tackle the week. You could choose some of the more invigorating activities like wild swimming to really wake them up!
Wednesday Mid-Week Work Break: Breaking up the week with some fresh air and exercise can have a huge positive impact on the team. The walk routes will be quieter than at weekends and knowing you have a break midweek can certainly increase engagement and motivation. Yoga and Sound baths are very popular as they really clear the mind and you go back to work with improved clarity of thinking.
Thursday Night Winddown & Overnight Stay: This corporate teambuilding event will leave your team feeling refreshed and ready for the weekend. Fridays are generally a quieter day in the office, so the team building experience will add even more value and it’s something for them to look forward to all week. Weekends can be busy for some, and employees can really relax into the activities on a Friday as they will have finished all their tasks for the week. Why not try one of the beverage options, cheese and wine, gin or craft beer tasting.
We don’t just run overnight events either we do great one day events which centre around the walk itself which alone is a great team building activity.
